Chicago Will Finally Get its First Steak 'N Shake Next Week
The popular regional fast-food chain, known for its "steakburgers," will open to the public on September 20 at 1322 S. Halsted Street near UIC, store owner Melvin Buckley says. It'll serve alcohol, breakfast, and a truncated menu of burgers and hot dogs in a 1,500-square-foot space with a sidewalk patio but no drive-thru.
