Mint and Liberty, the "modern diner" going in where the Breakaway Cafe was for years, will open to the public next Wednesday, Nov. 7. According to a press release, restaurant owners James and Mila Chaname-Hahn explain the name this way: "These are the things we stand for: Mint is for freshness, farm-to-table ingredients; Liberty is freedom of choice, you can come in and have a sprouted lentil salad or have pork belly and kimchi on top of your hamburger." The press release included some teasers from the new menu.
